The members Woodenhead would like to thank everyone across the country for the help and support during the Hurricane Katrina disaster. All of us spent time in exile while New Orleans was uninhabitable, and experienced hospitality in other cities that will not be forgotten. We are all home now.Keyboardist Fran Comiskey and bassist Paul Clement are still in temporary homes, as they rebuild their flood damaged houses. Jimmy Robinson's Big Green Warehouse complex where Woodenhead and other bands rehearse is being repaired as well. We would also like to thank NARAS Musicares program, especially Reid Wick, and Bob Ezrin and The Edge at Music Rising for their aid to Woodenhead members and New Orleans musicians. Jimmy Robinson wants to thank the Memphis music community for the solo gigs and enthusiasm while he and his family stayed there. The band was invited to submit a track to AFTER THE STORM, a Katrina benefit CD featuring prorock artists coordinated by NEARFEST RECORDS. The disc features terrific bands including HAPPY THE MAN, MIKE KENEALLY, KANSAS, THE CALIFORNIA GUITAR TRIO, SPOCK'S BEARD and a host of others. The cd is available at Nearfest records.
